Solomon Reed - Maker born in 1791 - He was a private in E.TN. Volunteers during the War of 1812.
The 1820 census found him in Greene Co.Tn.  He produced 20 rifles using hand powered mill.
Only two are known to exist - Rifle in next four pictures. P.O.R.
